Well you can count me as one who does not "care much for farming" and while the commercials are cute they are at the same time really sad because it's just more straight out lies from the billion dollar dairy industry.

Dairy cows are never ever happy, they spend their entire life exploited and suffering as "milk producers". They are repeatedly impregnated, giving birth to babies which are separate from them immediately causing great distress. The female babies are impregnated at a very young age, and begin the same fate as their mothers. 49% of the babies are male and are sold to veil producers. Veil production is horrifying, the baby calves are fed an iron deficient formula and kept in small enclosure so they can not develop muscles so meat stays a tender delicacy. They are not worth raising for beef because they have not been bred to be as "meaty" as beef cattle.

Dairy farms and human civilization can not and will never be able to support a paradise pasture where all the male dairy cows and their mothers go to live out their life which could be 20-25 years. Mothers are considered spent at just 6 years of life because they stop producing high volumes of milk and are killed for low grade fast food meat. Some dairy cows are make it to 12 years if they graze in between milking. You can research and find lots of info on the disease and infections cows get from being milked by machines all day. All of this is exactly the same on even the best organic and free ranges. Cows in organic conditions might get slightly less milking, and will see *some* daylight and grazing during the warmer months.

There's now a growing "organic" milk industry which is part of the same billion dollar corporate dairy industry which benefits from millions spent
on lobbying the government to ensure dairy is considered a staple item, promoted in schools, and an integral part of the food pyramid. They also
make very inaccurate protein, calcium and diet health claims in million dollar advertisement campaigns. Osteoporosis is not prevented by drinking milk, and societies that are not accustomed to drinking milk have strong bones and lower rates of osteoporosis than American's who consume excess amounts of dairy. Dairy is known to cause acne in teens and most people have at least some level of lactose intolerance.

We do not neat to put cows through this misery.
Try various soy, rice, hemp, oat or almond milks for your cereal and cooking.

I am convinced that if they made no money on their drugs we could cure cancer and aids... but they make too much money off of us!

I feel that for the younger teens and children parents should make sure that they know when they look at modles on magazines they know that what they are looking at is not reality. Maybe if they do this young girls will not go to such drastic measure to try and look like something that is not real.

i totally agree with you. artists should treasure the publicity they are getting and not try to squeeze every penny that they can out of their music.
